Imagine you're promoted to lead your team - what three things would you implement tomorrow, and why?
Include this question in your Manual of Me, or keep it private for your own reflection. If you don’t work in a team or are self-employed, imagine you had a boss who had responsibility for leading you - what would you want that boss to do?
How to find your answer:
1. Don't just consider your frustrations here, but also include what is important to you when considering others - what would you want for your colleagues?
2. Why are these things important to you, and what impact or improvements might they make? Are there ways of making it happen, even if you're not the boss?
3. Think about things you might remove, as well as things you might add.
4. Perhaps if you have time, think about the others in your team - what might they list? Is there something common or would you see a very varied list of suggestions?
