Every week, we share a new question you can add to your Manual of Me, a tool designed to help you explore and understand how you work best with others. We’re currently posting questions from the Manual of Me: At Home edition, designed to help us work better together whilst apart, due to COVID.
Every project, team, or role offers us something to learn and take with us to the next project. What was something you found illuminating or useful from the last project or team you worked on?
Answer this question yourself, and send it to your team, so they can answer too!
How to find your answer:
1. Look back over your list of projects or roles, perhaps using your CV or journal.
2. For the past three or four projects, try to capture one thought or lesson or skill you developed on the project.
3. Choose the lesson you think could be valuable for others to hear today, or something that you want to remember for yourself, and write it in your Manual.
4. Get into the habit of doing this at the end of each project or sprint of work. Don't do it immediately after a project has finished, but revisit about three months after the project has completed - to have time to reflect.
Manual of Me. is a tool to help you work better together with others.
