Q. My standard working hours are ...

Every week, we share a new question you can add to your Manual of Me, a tool designed to help you explore and understand how you work best with others.

Not every question in Manual of Me needs to be deeply soul-searching - the practical things are important too.

The pandemic has changed the when, where and how many are working - and gone are the days of being able to 'see' if someone is in the office.

Use this entry in your Manual of Me to outline your working hours, where you're based, and anything important to be aware of.

How to find your answer:

1. Write down your working week, the hours you're available to work.

2. Consider including information on zones during the day where you like to focus, where you're more open to meeting, etc.

3. Be very clear on the times you're not available, not days you're not working, but also times outside of when you will be working.

4. If your working week is dynamic and changes frequently, communicate this too - and perhaps explain the best way of how people can agree a g good time to work with you.

Answer this question yourself, and send it to your team, so they can answer too!

Manual of Me. is a tool to help you work better together with others, and you can now create your own team manuals. Choose the questions, invite your team, work better together. Try it out.
